Red Dot Award 2015, another win for MyRay

Another win for MyRay

Repeating the success obtained in 2013 by Hyperion X9, MyRay’s 2D & 3D panoramic imaging system, launched this year at IDS, Hyperion X5 has just been granted the 2015 Red Dot Design Award for Product Design. The international panel of independent judges base their evaluation on a selection of criteria ranging from ergonomics to functionality, durability and the degree of innovation which each product brings to its specific sector. Hyperion X5 was selected among nearly 5,000 products entering the competition by virtue of the many benefits it ensures to dental professionals in the field of radiology and diagnostics.

Ultra-compact, clean design

Hyperion X5 is the smallest wall-mounted panoramic imaging system in the world, just right for any practice: all you need is a wall, zero footprint. Astonishingly simple to use thanks to a user-friendly interface and MRT (Morphology Recognition Technology), Hyperion X5 achieves up to 15 2D projections in just a few, simple steps.

Once you’ve fixed the system to the most convenient spot in your surgery, it is astonishingly easy to use. Thanks to the automatic focusing, with parameters automatically set for the patient, Hyperion X5 avoids underexposed or overexposed images, thereby preserving the patient from useless radiation. Morphology Recognition Technology spares the need to manually set the emission parameters.
The complete MyRay product range includes high-frequency X-ray units, wireless digital sensors, panoramic imagers, intraoral HD cameras, curing lights, CB3D imaging systems and dedicated software.
