As we entered the new millennium, Cefla pursued its activities with the same energy as ever. From the oldest Business Unit, Cefla Engineering, to the youngest at the turn of the century, Cefla Medical Equipment.
Between 2002 and 2005 BU #Engineering undertook one of the most significant projects in its 70-year history to date: restoration of La Scala Theatre in Milan. We restored all the building systems: control stations as well as mechanical, electrical and special systems. Each individual operating area is equipped with control panels, air conditioning control terminals and special equipment. System stations are set in underground rooms below the stage, including cooling and heat exchange systems, treated air distribution system, fire-fighting system, electric power substation, power supply and distribution panel, lighting and special systems.
In 2007 with the creation of the #MyRay brand, BU #MedicalEquipment entered the field of medical imaging. MyRay was launched at IDS in Cologne, the dental sector’s major biennial event. Today MyRay is one of 2 imaging brands belonging to the Business Unit, the second of which is #NewTom, since 1996 pioneer and creator of #CBCT imaging in the dental sector. Each brand designs, develops and supplies the medical industry with advanced 2D and 3D imaging systems and specialist software.
Today, Cefla’s youngest brand of all is C-LED, developing LED illumination technologies and solutions for proximity marketing as well as efficient indoor energy management applications.
