JOB DESCRIPTION

The Field Service Technician reports to the Technical Support Manager and is responsible for installing equipment, investigating and resolving customer reports of technical problems.  The position interacts mainly with dental customers but also across the Cefla community as well as with outside businesses and individuals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Install and un-install x-ray systems and sub-systems at customer’s facility to ensure full functionality according to specifications
  • Responsible for testing and refurbishing of x-ray systems
  • Reviews performance reports and documentation from customers and field representatives, and inspects malfunctioning or damaged product to determine nature and scope of problem, coordinate problem resolution
  • Analyzes review and inspection findings to determine source of problem, and recommends repair, replacement, or other corrective action
  • Provide software configurations and troubleshooting as well as hardware configuration and servicing
  • Provides a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of experience
  • Experience with x-ray installation, maintenance and trouble shooting
  • DICOM

EDUCATION REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum

JOB TITLE: Sales Area Manager
STATUS: Full-Time – Exempt
AREA: Canada – Finishing

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sales Area Manager reports to the National Sales Manager for North America and is responsible for
promoting and selling Cefla finishing products in Canada (AB, SK, MB, ON-except Ottawa Valley).
The position interacts across the Cefla North America organization as well as with outside businesses and
individuals (dealers, agents, ancillaries’ suppliers, etc.).

RESPONSIBILITIES
 Develop territory sales strategy with the sales manager and sales support team.
 Developer dealer/agent network within the territory.
 Forecast and monitor activity in the region, working closely with the sales team, dealers/agents, and
industry partners.
 Provide product training together with sales engineers to agents and dealers through planned training
sessions and fieldwork.
 Perform appropriate cost justification studies and generate ROI’s for presentation to potential customers.
 Travel with regional dealers/agents and provide technical expertise on sales calls.
 Recommend machines and systems for customer specific applications and develop presentations for
specific customers.
 Work closely with the sales support team and sales manager to plan an efficient sales support effort on a
weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
 Coordinate order progression between customers, sales support team, and dealers/agents and assist with
closing sales.
 Assist dealer/agents in documenting important technical information regarding the machine sale on the
sale agreement or attached orders note.
 Monitor competitor’s activities and notify engineers and/or sales department of new developments,
technologies, special trends, products, etc.
 Provide technical and creative input for marketing of products and publicity releases, develop technical
specifications, and contribute articles to trade publications.
 Travel abroad for sales meetings, training, customer testing, and international trade shows.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
Required:
 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, selling capital equipment
 Bachelor’s degree minimum
JOB REQUIREMENTS
 Experience dealing with European machinery (capital) equipment
 Ability to speak Italian language
 Lead teams with business objectives and/or productivity improvement goals.
 Confidence when dealing with people
