Cefla Engineering to be general contractor for construction of the new TeaPak (Yogi Tea) plant

A new industrial complex is being built for TeaPak, an Imola-based company that has, since 2001, been the European hub for the blending, sachet filling and packaging of herb teas produced by Yogi Tea, a multinational with head offices in the USA and Germany. As general contractor, the Cefla Engineering Business Unit will oversee all the work on the complex.

The new TeaPak production plant – which will see Cefla build the facilities (by managing the work site and supervising the work performed by Cims and Cti) and design/install latest-generation electrical, mechanical, air treatment, plumbing and special fire prevention systems – will cover 23,000 square metres, to be sub-divided among three buildings (production, managerial and plant engineering) and an external road network area. Work began on 14th March 2019. Final delivery of the facilities, when TeaPak will install the manufacturing machines, is scheduled for February 2020.
