700 specialists attended the recent IADMFR Congress for Dental Radiologists
Doubling attendance figures for last year’s Norwegian venue, the 2015 edition which took place late August in Santiago de Chile, was a resounding success, particularly for two brands belonging to Cefla’s Medical Solutions Business Unit. Thanks to our official distributor for the local market, Bomm Lda. in the persons of Ricardo Mir and Mario Casadio, but also thanks to our technical and sales staff who travelled to Santiago, we were able to launch two new products, gathering interesting leads. All the equipment exhibited has also been sold locally and within weeks of the congress, is already being used across the country.

VGI evo, the latest product from pioneer brand NewTom, is the ultimate CBCT imaging system. Thanks to a simple single-scan examination of an anatomical region as large as 24×19 cm, VGi evo allows investigation of the entire maxillofacial area.
Visitors appreciated both the cutting-edge design and performance provided by the extensive range of digital systems for dental radiology, especially MyRay’s optimum price-quality ratio. Great interest was shown in NewTom’s NNT software, reputed to be the best in its field.
A successful congress locally and globally
With a special mention for the President of Chilean Society of Radiology, Professor Dr. Guillermo Moreno, who organised the event and managed to attract 700 attendees, this year’s congress enabled radiologists to share the very latest clinical cases, discover innovations from manufacturers across the globe and enjoy social gatherings including a well-attended Gala Dinner on the last evening.
