Cefla releases its third Sustainability Report – a document looking ahead but at the same time reminding us of the unprecedented historical time we are living in, in which our actions must be measured against the complexity and the continuous evolution of the current scenarios.
The Report deals with Responsible Governance, Innovation and Research, Human, Social, Natural and Economic Capitals to outline a background and a process which, over the course of our 88 years, has managed to bring together different people with the shared goal of building communities, without ever losing sight of mutual respect as a priority.
By closing this third Report, Cefla has created a tool for evaluating daily activities and pursuing them with ever-increasing effectiveness and consistency. This report contains Cefla Group’s final evaluation of its contribution toward the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN in response to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
The approach adopted by Cefla in terms of sustainability reporting is evidence of the company’s commitment to integrating in its business model themes such as innovation and creativity, but also HR management and respect for the environment, with a view to ensuring transparent communication to all its stakeholders, as well as consistency between the actions undertaken during 2019 and the values expressed by the corporate mission.
Our intent was to present our considerations, aware that much remains to be done and that excellence, commitment, innovation, digital transformation and internationality will ensure the leverage needed to plan a sustainable future for us and design sustainable solutions for our clients. There is still a long way to go before we can call ourselves a sustainable company, but we are aware that the third edition of this report is an important milestone for pursuing this goal year after year.
