Cefla Finishing, innovation since the 60’s

The key word at the start of the ‘60s was “expansion”, and at this time Cefla started to produce systems for the painting and decoration of wood. Initially an experiment, it became a serious initiative in 1969 when Cefla joined the Association of Manufacturers of Woodworking Machinery and Materials. The association offered a host of opportunities in Eastern European countries, but Cefla also established strong business relations in Portugal, Switzerland, Greece, UK, Libya and Brazil at the start of the ‘70s. Excellent prospects came from the French market and in 1976 Cefla opened its first controlled company in a foreign country, more precisely in the south of France.

Today #CeflaFinishing leads the sector as a pioneer and next week will be taking part in the most important event for the wood industry in Hannover. From May 22 – 26 during Ligna 2017 Cefla will be presenting countless innovations as proof of the intuition had by our predecessors.
