Parco San Lazzaro Cefla | Cefla

A playground for kids

The project “Parco Primo Sport 0246” (0246 First Sports Park) is fortunate to have a leading figure and patroness in Olympic fencer Valentina Vezzali; the playground will open in San Lazzaro di Savena in September and has the full support of Cefla along with other companies in the area which have decided to invest in its creation. Designed by the University of Verona, the project is the brainchild of the association Laboratorio 0246 led by the 6-time Olympic champion. The playground will be the third in Italy after those of Treviso and Rome, and will be divided into four areas that have been designed to help children develop their first needs: mobility, dexterity, balance and symbolic play.

“Cefla is celebrating its 85 years of activity, during which it has grown and evolved by investing in the future and in new generations, maintaining a strong link with the territory and always seeking to contribute to the community’s social growth – explains Roberto Cocchi, director of Cefla Plant Solutions, who was immediately a strong believer in the project “Parco Giochi Primo Sport 0246” – We really liked this project because it is dedicated to children in an innovative way. This project has a tremendous value for us all and for the future which companies, institutions and associations must always strive to build, united in a common purpose”.

The playground will be equipped with lighting and video-surveillance and will be open to school groups, families and individuals without any time restrictions. Birthday parties can be organised here, and there will be places where mothers can peacefully breastfeed.
