Cefla receives an award at AEEDC Dubai Fair, tha major dental sector trade show in the Middle East
The 20th AEEDC trade show in Dubai has just ended (2-4 February) with a resounding success for Cefla. Crowds gathered at our booth today to follow an internationally renowned dental surgeon, Dr. Majd Naji, as he conducted sessions of live cosmetic dentistry. To round off the day in style, Cefla has been awarded the “Best Booth Design Award” beating a field of over 700 other exhibitors.

The Cefla booth – host to a selection of brands belonging to the Business Unit which serves the dental and medical sector – has won the prize for the best design thanks to the voting public. Among the products worth mentioning, the world’s smallest wall-mounted panoramic imager: Hyperion X5 by MyRay. Also Castellini’s Puma ELI versatile, compact dental unit, as well as sterilization equipment, NewTom’s systems for advanced radiology and other dental units, in particular the Classe L9 unit by Anthos, all of which were exhibited on official distributor booths. Dr. Naji was able to perform on the S380TRC, the latest integrated treatment centre by cutting-edge brand Stern Weber, packed with innovative technological features, advanced ergonomics and built to ensure maximum comfort, especially for the patients taking part in the live demonstration.

Known internationally, above all to the jet set of actors, actresses, musicians and politicians, Dr. Naji, who usually consults at his Dubai-based clinic, relocated to the Cefla booth for two days conducting live sessions of cosmetic dentistry while enjoying the excellent features of a new Stern S380 TRC Continental. Countless visitors gathered to watch the application of dental veneers and the sessions were filmed by local Dubai television.
Renowned for his presence in the media, Dr. Majd Naji has close on 2,000,000 Facebook followers and attracted crowds of curious spectators during today’s demonstration. In 2015, Dr. Naji visited Cefla’s production plant in Imola, Italy. He was able to admire the modern production processes which contribute to creating state-of-the-art instruments and systems for the dental sector.
Cefla manufactures dental units, 2D & 3D radiology, sterilization equipment and dynamic instruments and exports across the world. The Middle East has always been an important market for Cefla and today’s success in Dubai is undoubtedly a positive sign for the future.
