CEFLA NORTH AMERICA

Cefla Finishing Group of Imola, Italy, now present in Charlotte, N.C., with the largest wood finishing laboratory in North America.

cfa_newOn June 10, 2010, Cefla SC of Imola, Italy, opened the North American headquarters in Charlotte, N.C.

The 150,000-square-foot facility is Cefla's largest investment outside of Italy. The building comes in response to growing demand in the North American market. All Cefla operations in the U.S. and Canada have been consolidated into the new facility, which includes 75,000 square feet of manufacturing space and 15,000 square feet for an application laboratory and machine showroom.

"The new facility has given us the largest wood finishing laboratory in North America, and one of the largest in the world," says Dale Dozeman, Sales Manager of Cefla North America. "We see this lab as a resource for everyone to use in finding solutions to meet their wood and non-wood finishing challenges."

The Finishing Unit consists of leading companies and solid brands including Cefla Finishing, Delle Vedove (DV-Systems), Düspohl, Falcioni, Sorbini – which have made innovation their strong point.  In particular, North America is a Research Centre for vacuum technology, with a specific product portfolio marketed under the name of DV-Systems.

The Dental Unit promotes and distributes the name brands of MyRay and Stern Weber in the North American market.

Development of a range of advanced imaging systems and equipment for digital radiology started in the late 90’s and today’s assortment of innovative products is specifically conceived for the field of dentistry and designed to respond to the needs of dental professionals in terms of simplicity and performance.  MyRay exploits technology and provides you with down-to-earth solutions that will ultimately facilitate your role in the treatment process.

Founded in 1958 as the dental division of a leading Swiss manufacturer of precision timepieces, Stern Weber has never lost pace with the forefront of the dental equipment sector.  In 1967 Stern Weber produces the first ever dental unit with instruments placed at the extremity of a balanced and articulated arm. Since then Stern Weber has designed and launched equipment offering innovative solutions conceived in keeping with the demands of the dental profession.

Today Stern Weber continues along the road of innovation offering, along with the dental units range, a wide selection of instruments and accessories manufactured in its own premises, which include integrated imaging systems and digital radiology equipment.
