Smartedge
This technology comes from the desire to respond to the growing importance of edge filling. Sorbini, already at the cutting edge with Smartedge sanding and painting machines, is launching a new (patented) technological application process, which allows MDF and chipboard to be filled using an extremely simplified process and minimum quantity of applied paint. It guarantees extreme colour-change flexibility in very reduced spaces, with low-temperature drying.
Sorbini will present two edge machines at Hannover, the traditional Smartedge running a white pigmented vacuum cycle on MDF edges and priming/finishing on transparent veneered edges, as well as the new edge treatment technology (in the reserved area) which will also include a new cleaning system for the flat part of the panel, with a patented assembly.
