The first Italian school for wood finishing is born!
Its primary goal is to make scientific, tangible, measurable, repeatable and culturally transferable the know-how and the standard quality of wood finishing process.
Cefla Finishing Group, together with some very important lecturers from the Chemical Engineering Branch of Bologna University, has developed some courses which provide a theoretical and practical training in wood coating processes:

Topics
Some of the topics included in the program: coating products, different types of wooden supports, sanding processes, coating and curing systems, how to choose a finishing line, programmed machines’ maintenance, finishing process control, quality issues and remedy measures.
- The school is equipped with a fully equipped Quality Measurement laboratory, where you will be able to test process performances, detect finishing faults and identify possible remedy measures.
- Furthermore, practical tests on finishing processes related to different technologies will be carried out in the Cefla Finishing Lab: the lab has a surface of 2500 square meters, with more than 50 machines installed – it can therefore be considered the most advanced lab worldwide in the Finishing sector.
