CEFLA FINISHING GROUP will be at the Hannover exhibition with a wide range of innovations.

The first is our presence in multiple halls.

In addition to our "traditional" stand (Hall 22), which this year will show us as main players, we will have another stand in Hall 12, dedicated to craftsmanship, where we will present iGiotto. Cefla will be present in another stand (Hall 24) together with other players in the lightweight panels sector.

Leading company chooses Cefla for coating of plastic portholes of washing machines

The line - already in place and operating, with high satisfaction on customer side – starts with an accurate clearing before coating by Pre/IRM hood installed on conveyor; application of transparent or pigmented coating can be done either by Target robot or by Kleenspray spraying machine according to productivity needs; flash-off with cross-oven and final drying with vertical oven, according to cycle.

New LAB in Pesaro

This new centre is focused on the development of innovative technologies for coating of flat panels and assembled windows, edge finishing and special solutions for the painting of glass, plastic and fibre cement surfaces.

Pesaro LAB occupies about 900 sqm and is operational for real application tests. Among available technologies: a complete edge sanding and painting line (vacuum and roller application); coating solutions for assembled windows; specific printing machines for PVC, ABS, PP melamine papers and wood; an entire area implemented with specific machines devoted to panel polishing.

Giotto – designed by Falcioni, the competence centre for windows within Cefla Finishing Group - is an innovative robot for assembled windows coating that combines highest levels of automated spraying technology with a power and free aerial line:
• high flexibility: coating of small batches with frequent colour changes
• high application quality: it imitates what an expert worker would do
• lets you paint both sides of the door or window
• lets you paint, at the same time, different sized pieces
• it automatically ‘reads’ the dimensions of the piece through a specialised mechanism
• Giotto can work while the rest of the world sleeps – all you have to do is programme the colours and push “start” before you go home
• it can be installed in a pre-existing painting cabin, and lets you alternate between manual painting and automatic Giotto painting, according to your needs
• it can be checked on from far away, via a webcam installed on the machine.

New Finishing Technological Centre in Pesaro

Already operative the new competence centre for the development of innovative technologies for the coating of flat panels and assembled windows, automatic finishing of panel edges, as well as specific solution for glass, plastic and cementfibre finishing.

The new company – called Sorbini srl – will keep the two brand names Sorbini and Falcioni on which it has built its market reputation for flat panels and windows respectively. The centre has internal design facilities and a test LAB of 900 sqm for independent development of new technologies and solutions to respond to customers needs.
