Cefla Finishing starts producing spray booths and drying ovens for the booming furniture industry. |
1970 UV Ovens Launch |
| The first UV drying ovens for wood coatings were created in Germany: Cefla Finishing is one of the first companies introducing this technology in Italy. |
1980 Sorbini |
Cefla Finishing begins its cooperation with SORBINI, the “Italian inventor” of the curtain coater. Moreover, it starts the production of vertical ovens and carousel rotary spraying machines, the ancestors of Elispray. |
1990 Easy & Aquadry |
Cefla Finishing strongly invests in innovation and patents Easy, the first automatic spraying machine in the world which recovers coating from the conveying belt. Almost at the same time, it launches Aquadry, the first drying oven for waterborne coatings. |
1990 Falcioni - ISO certification |
It’s in the 90ies that Cefla Finishing starts its cooperation with Falcioni. A few years later this cooperation turns into a strong commitment with the take-over of Falcioni by Cefla Finishing. In 1996 Cefla Finishing obtains the quality certificate ISO:2001, first company in the world of wood coating. |
2000 SprayBotic – GLASS and PLASTIC diversification |
The 2000’s are characterized by the extraordinary success of Spraybotic (today Ibotic) and specific lines for waterborne coatings.Cefla Finishing starts its diversification strategy, thanks to the launch of coating lines for plastic and glass application. |
2005 Delle Vedove Group |
These are years characterized by a great impulse to growth: through the acquisition of Delle Vedove Group, the prestigious trademarks of Delle Vedove Sanding Machines, DVD and Düspohl enrich Cefla Finishing Group portfolio. |

2009 – A brand new product portfolio |
Cefla Finishing Group introduces 10 complete novelties at LIGNA Fair in Hannover. Some of these products are remarkable technological evolutions – UVRay, a compact oven which combines high performances with lowest energy consumption; JetDekor, a new ink-jet printing system for white paper rolls - other ones are product range extensions – as the new Glue Line, which completes the effective glue spraying application of Target robot with innovative solutions for panel trimming (Tarcut) and PVC waste recovery (Twister). |
