Transformer
Transformer is the innovative hybrid checkout that can be used in either self service or staffed mode, absolutely the first of its kind on the market, an extremely flexible combination of technology and convenience.
Created within the Avantgarde platform, Transformer maintains all the convenience and productivity of the conventional checkout but is also practical and efficient in self-service mode, when processing goods from either a trolley or a basket.
Transformer can be used in self-service mode when the flow of customers is not high enough to justify opening an additional checkout, or in staffed mode when the flow of customers or the level of service to be delivered needs another conventional checkout to be put into operation.
The unit, styled for functional integration of the IT devices, is available both with the innovative Avantgarde design or with the more conventional Futura look, to fit attractively into existing barriers.
Transformer is made up of the following elements:
- Fittings: checkout with conveyor belt, central section including all the IT supports, rotating basin and self bagging surface. Like a manned checkout it’s modular and can be customised.
- Hardware: touchscreen, 360° scanner, scanner gun, printer, customer display, pin pad, cash management, weighing scales (optional), mobile controller (optional).
- Software: product BIOS, automatic cash management, self graphic interface, manned graphic interface (optional), integration with the client’s systems.
The hardware devices are among the best available on the market, tested and selected to guarantee a high level of performance and reliability.
The Transformer software has an architecture designed to give the store maximum flexibility in the use and integration with its IT systems.
The cash management system, which avoids the use of costly recirculation systems, is optimized to guarantee operational autonomy for a whole day – (self/manned mode).
The graphic interface is the result of ergonomic studies aimed at making your customers checkout pleasant and intuitive to use.
